Designed to cultivate foundation skills, this six-week experience will have you shaping different forms of pottery on the wheel. As you delve into the world of ceramics, you'll not only learn techniques like centering, pulling up, and shaping, but also explore glazing.
Your creative 6 week journey at the Meadow and Wild studio promises not just newfound skills and beautiful pottery, but also a tranquil and peaceful escape.
Weekly Plan:
Week 1: Throwing Basics
Week 2: Turning and trimming
Week 3: Adding handles
Week 4: Throwing Bowls
Week 5: Shaping Pieces
Week 6: Glazing 101
What’s included?
- 10kgs of Macs Mud Buff Stoneware Clay
- The use of studio aprons and all studio tools
- Glaze and firing costs for up to 10 pieces
- Digital Handbook with videos and resources to begin your pottery journey
Do you offer make up sessions if I miss a class?
Please double check you can make all dates across the six weeks as lessons are consecutive, so ideally you would come to all six in a row. However, we are able to offer a spot in the Open Studio class if you did miss one.
